Tournament Information Entry Fee: $175.00 per player (cart and range balls included for 3 days) Championship Flight $145.00 per player (cart and range balls included for 2 days)

 

Handicap Flight Entry fee includes 3 days of tournament play for Championship Flight, 2 days of tournament play for Handicap Flight, tee gifts, practice round, and Flight prizes.

 

No entry fees will be refunded after September 20th, 2009. All entries must be submitted on an official entry form accompanied by check. Entry deadline is September 14, 2009. No entries will be accepted by telephone or email.

 

Format: Stroke Play (Championship Flight) - Gross Score. Stroke Play (Handicap Flight) - Net Score. Tournament Field: The field will be limited to the first 80 entries. The Championship Division will play from the Blue Tees and will be flighted after 36 holes or second round completion. Handicap division players will play from the White Tees and will be pre-flighted before the first round according to U.S.G.A. Handicap Index.

 

Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, place in each Championship Flight and Handicap Flight. A tie for Championship "A" Flight will be decided by a sudden death playoff starting on hole #1. Tournament Winner will come from Championship Flight "A". All other ties will be decided by matching cards according to U.S.G.A. Practice Rounds: The course will be open for one practice round to all non-member registered participants September 14th - 24th. Cart fees will apply.

 

Call golf shop for tee times 205-668-7888. Cancellation, Postponement: If for any reason the Tournament has to be cancelled, the Tournament will rescheduled October 23,24,25, 2009. In the event the entire field of players do not complete eighteen holes on any given day, but do complete nine common holes, Timberline's Golf Committee reserves the right to declare a completed round for the Tournament.

 

General: The Tournament Committee reserves the right to refuse a player's entry at its discretion. All tournament rulings are the responsibility of Timberline's Head Golf Professional and/or the Tournament Committee and are final. All play will be governed by U.S.G.A. Rules except where as modified by local rules. All players will be required to use golf carts.
